More than 40 school districts, including District 197, have come together to develop a collective education plan to address equity, integration, access, opportunity and educational achievement. To inform this work, the districts are holding a series of upcoming discussions across the metro area that will provide input to superintendents as they create a plan and recommendations for new local and statewide policies and practices. We cannot accomplish this important work without your voice.
Please join us as we gather to Reimagine Minnesota and help us conceptualize a model of education that’s designed for the success of all students. The discussion for the southeast portion of the Twin Cities will be held at South St. Paul Public Schools (700 North Second Street, South St. Paul) on Wednesday, February 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. It will include parents, teachers, students and community members from the West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan, South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and South Washington County school districts.
Transportation from District 197 to South St. Paul will be provided, if needed (request by Feb. 17). Interpreters and childcare (ages 3-12) will also be available, upon request.
